Mr. McCarthy is a Senior Executive Vice President and General Counsel of BNY Mellon. A member of the company's Executive Committee, he heads BNY Mellon's Legal Department, and also has overall responsibility for Government Affairs, the Corporate Secretarial function and Global Corporate Security. He is the Executive Committee sponsor for VetNet, an Employee Resource Group that supports employees who are former employees who are former military or have family members who have served. 

While at Albany Law Mr. McCarthy was Associate Editor of the Albany Law Review.

Kevin received his undergraduate degree from Siena College.
