In many cities, law students from several schools compete for internships, field projects, and summer employment. But Albany Law is the region's only law school within a 100-mile radius, giving students unprecedented opportunities to tap into both during their course of study, and after graduation.
The Cost of Attendance (COA) covers the nine-month academic year, and includes educational expenses, or basically everything you need to go to school and live, within reason. The COA is designed to be an accurate and modest but adequate projection of reasonable costs associated with attending Albany Law School. In other words, the COA does not allow a lifestyle of luxury, but should not force a lifestyle of poverty either.
Individual adjustments may be made on a case-by-case basis, based on documented extraordinary circumstances and within federal regulation. Consumer debt, such as credit card or car payments, cannot be included under any circumstances.
A one-time documented rental or purchase of a personal computer can be added to the COA, up to $2,500.
