Albany Law School will delay opening until 11am due to the weather.
The GLC engages in a variety of innovative activities to initiate, educate and engage students, new business leaders, and organizations across New York state in the law of entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.
Startup Discover offers entrepreneurs free legal workshops and one-on-one consultations, conducted by Albany Law faculty and the area’s expert law practitioners, on early-stage business issues to help improve their companies’ chances of success.
Entrepreneurial White Paper Series illuminates complex legal issues on topics that are proposed by academic institutions and organizations around the state that benefit from the cutting-edge information contained in these papers. The GLC is a regular contributor to the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority’s Clean Tech Matters blog, which covers a range of issues relevant to entrepreneurs engaged in clean technology entrepreneurship. The GLC also organizes innovative opportunities for law students to collaborate with students in other disciplines, where they are exposed to the science, art and law of entrepreneurship and emerging technologies. Many of our activities are in partnership with well-regarded education, research and technology resources in the Capital Region, such as the College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering (CNSE) at SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
