Join the Government Law Center at Albany Law School for the third program of the 2024 Warren M. Anderson Legislative Series. Panelists will examine the state of redistricting in New York State in light of a decision of the New York Court of Appeals in Hoffman v. NYS Independent Redistricting Commission, the latest development in the redistricting process that began in 2022. Panelists will discuss the statutory and constitutional bases for drawing new district maps, legal challenges to redistricting maps, and the future of redistricting in New York State.
