Jack Withiam Jr. '74

​Jack Withiam is from western NY and a 1971 graduate of Hamilton College. After graduating from Albany Law School, Jack moved to NYC and worked just a few years before joining George Little Management. He served in several capacities before retiring in 2011 as SVP and general counsel. His departure was a result of upper-level management changes following the sale of GLM to Providence Equity Partners. He had general responsibility for GLM's Legal, Finance, MIS and Human Resources departments in addition to overseeing the direction of the National Stationery Show* and HSMAI's Affordable Meetings events in Washington, D.C., Chicago, IL and Long Beach, CA.

Jack is a recipient of several trade show industry awards of distinction. In 2003 he was named to Tradeshow Week's, "Top 100 Most Influential People in the Tradeshow Business." He received special recognition, as one of five "Legends of the Hall" - deemed one of the industry's "movers and shakers" by Tradeshow Week's editors. Jack serves as a director of NYC & Company, the official New York City marketing, tourism and partnership organization.
